Reservations are open to the public and are allocated on a first come first serve basis, beginning at the PIBYC annual winter meeting in January. There is a minimum 2-day reservation on weekends, with a maximum stay of 7 consecutive days, and a maximum of 3 standing weekend reservations. A valid credit card number is required. No-shows and cancellations after 12 Noon on the day prior to the reservation will be charged overnight dockage.

Placement on a waiting list is not a guarantee of dockage - determination is made no earlier than 12 Noon on the day prior to the reservation. Information about other public and private transient dockage at Put-in-Bay can be found through our Boater Links page, and through The Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce. Dockage availability at Put-in-Bay depends upon the day of the week. Local marinas and the harbor fill up every weekend and during the I-LYA Regatta (late July - early August). Click to read the complete Reservation Policies (Adobe Acrobat Reader required).

Rafting two-deep is required on the east side of the dock on weekends and holidays. No rafting reservations will be accepted on the west side of dock (see chart above). Dockage fees cover the mooring of one boat only.

Black-Out Dates: For safety and logistical reasons, the east side of the dock will not be rented:
While junior sailing classes are in session
(Sunday night through Friday morning, June 11 to July 14)
During Junior Bayweek racing
(Sunday night July 16 to Friday morning July 21)
During Senior Bayweek one-design sail racing
(Sunday night July 30 to Wednesday morning August 2)

Fees: Overnight dockage is $1.50 per foot, including rafted vessels. A $20.00 day rate (4 hours maximum) is available, space permitting, Sunday through Thursday. No-shows and cancellations after 12 Noon on the day prior to the reservation are charged overnight dockage with exceptions in case of bad weather, at the discretion of the Club Manager. All boats moored longer than one hour must pay overnight or day rate dockage fees.

Check-In: All boats, including dinghies, are required to check-in with the Club Manager or designee immediately upon arrival. Check-out time is 12 Noon. Reservations may not be transferred to another vessel without approval of the Club Manager or designee. Boat owner, passengers, and guests agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations.
Launch Ramp: Use of the launch ramp, hoist, and short-term trailer parking is free for members of PIBYC and members of I-LYA, AYC, and WLECA affiliated clubs (if a membership card is presented). Non-members must pay a $5 ramp fee, which includes one-day parking behind the clubhouse. The shorter dock adjacent to the launch ramp is designated for launch ramp use only. Dinghies (PIBYC members only) less than 10-feet in length may be temporarily moored (8 hours maximum) at the base of this dock opposite from the ramp, as space is available. No other vessels shall be left unattended at this dock.

Winter and Summer Storage: Boat and trailer storage on Club property is available to PIBYC members for the summer season ($100.00) and during the winter ($50.00), subject to availability. A completed Boat Storage Agreement form must be mailed to the Club Manager along with full payment. (Adobe Acrobat Reader required)
