Thank you for your interest in joining the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club. Founded in 1886, PIBYC is one of the oldest yacht clubs on the Great Lakes, and offers its members a unique mix of activities ashore and afloat.

The Club is active in several boating organizations including the Greater Cleveland Boating Association (GCBA), Associated Yacht Clubs (AYC), the Interlake Yachting Association (I-LYA), and Yachting Clubs of America (YCA). The Club serves as host for the I-LYA Junior Sailing regatta in July, Senior Sail Regatta, and Junior and Senior Power Regattas in August. The Club is also frequently asked to host special boating events. Because of these affiliations, a PIBYC membership card grants access to facilities around the country and beyond (our past Fleet Surgeon received a hearty welcome from the Hobart Yacht Club while traveling in Australia).

Regular dues for 2020 will be $295 (plus tax) for Regular members and $100 (plus tax) for Junior members.

Our membership consists of power boaters, sail boaters, non-boaters, and a few ferry boaters. The Club season spans from early May to early October, although we also sponsor winter events to allow us a regular boating "fix."

Just as membership in PIBYC carries these privileges, it also carries responsibility. We are first and foremost a volunteer organization, and all members are asked to contribute whatever skills they can—we have a job for everyone. It is a great way to get involved and meet new people!
